2 google analytics tags

    Hi,

    When i use the plugin for analytics i see 2 tags being installed for analytics. Is this normal?

    The google tag assistant says
    Global site tag
    and
    Google analytics
    The last one says some thing about pageviews request.

    is this normal?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    @funkyj4ever Thanks for getting in touch. From checking your site everything seems fine. The gtag.js resource reference using Tag Assistant refers to the resource used to connect your property ID to Analytics.

    I am curious why there are two tags?

    I dont have this on other website with a different plugin..

    @funkyj4ever No problem, hopefully I can explain. Everything is setup correctly on your site.

    The first tag refers to the JavaScript resource used to connect your site with Analytics.

    The second tag which contains your Analytics property ID includes settings and configurations.
