 * I’ve got a multisite blog farm and am trying to get this plugin to work. I’ve
   set a default blog in the network admin settings, and that blog has very benign
   settings.
 * In the dashboard of a newly-created blog, this error appears at the top:
 * Then, if I try to add a widget, this error shows on the widget (in the dashboard):
 * Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in/
   home/housings/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/inc/class-sitemaps.
   php on line 540
 * Fatal error: Cannot unset string offsets in /home/housings/public_html/wp-content/
   plugins/wordpress-seo/wp-seo.php on line 90
 * What am I doing wrong?
 * Thanks!

 * Just so it’s clear… this is with Yoast’s WordPress SEO plugin.

 * Moved to MultiSite.
 * I take it you have the plugin set to Network Activate? Try it activated per site?

 * The problem is that I’m trying to make it easy for my users, who are mostly novices.
   Asking them to activate and configure the plugin is unreasonable.
 * Yoast can know All In One for it’s automation, but it is much more user-friendly
   for novices…

 * Before you get lost in the world of OMG! My users NEED THIS! stop, breathe and
   do your job as their webmaster 🙂
 * That means you need to _test_ if the problem goes away when you turn off network
   activation, and just turn it on per site.

 * Not all plugins can be network activated. You could try it with this plugin:

   [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/proper-network-activation/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/proper-network-activation/)
 * to see if it helps, otherwise, you’ll have to go with single site activation.(
   Don’t you have a plugin manager plugin installed?)
