 * I see there is a considerable amount of discussion about the large number of
database records slowing down the performance of WP.
 * Any concerns/suggestions about running a WP site with over 20,000 posts?

 * 20,000 posts should not cause any issues. I have worked on sites with over 100,000
posts. You will need to make sure your code is efficient and that you cache any
   expensive queries.

 * Thank you Chris for your prompt response.
 * My concern is with the time it takes the editor to save a new post. We have now
only about 2500 post and it already takes close to one minute to save new revision.
At the same time the website loads in 5 to 10 sec. only.
 * I’m limiting number of revisions down to 3. My Database is regularly optimized.
 * With out current rate of growth I’m expecting we’ll have over 20,000 posts in
   just over a year.
 * Will the time of saving a new posts get any longer then?
