    Hi guys,

I know they say to search engines it doesn’t matter whether a site has the www in the url or not so long as only one convention is used. Still I want the www’s to appear in my site’s urls. By default wordpress doesn’t seem to include this. Yet I have seen plenty of wordpress sites that has the www’s. How can I do this as well?

Try this Google Search. Basically you can do it through .htacess.

I’ve never found the need to rewrite to www so I haven’t experimented with it, but that’s how you’d do it.

What do the settings in your dashboard reflect?

    Settings > General >

    WordPress address (URL)

    Blog address (URL)

Is there a “www” prefix in front of your blog/wordpress addresses?

Thanks a lot Clayton, I can’t believe I missed that. I was so convinced that there was a complex solution that I completely overlooked the obvious. Thanks again.
