# 2FA doesn’t work

 * I am on Mac OSX, so there’s no “anti virus” conflict. All my extensions are disabled
   on this self-hosted WP admin page: Ghostery, AdBlock Plus. I have also tried 
   it in Incognito mode, and across various browsers: Safari, Chrome, Firefox.
 * I cannot login to WordPress, so cannot show what the Wordfence debug console 
   shows.
 * Please help. What kind of idiotic dysfunctional stuff is this?

 * The quickest way back into the site is to manually disable Wordfence be renaming
   its plugin directory to something like wordfence.bak via sFTP or your hosting
   control panel. Once you’re back into the site you can rename it back to reenable
   it.
 * Once you’re back in the site can you please try disabling all other plugins and
   switch to a WordPress default theme to check for a conflict?

 * There’s nothing in our simple HTML theme to “conflict” with 2FA functionality.
   Will be disabling Wordfence for good. Please figure out how to implement this
   functionality without blocking us admins out of the site. Silly coding.

 * I completely understand your frustration. However, many people are using this
   without an issue. The first step in troubleshooting this is to rule out a conflict
   with either the theme you’re using or plugins. If this doesn’t end up being the
   case we can look deeper. Please do let me know if you’d like to troubleshoot 
   the issue.
