2FA E-Mail takes very long

    Hi,
    we do use the 2FA authorisation by email.
    There is also a SMTP Plugin on the website installed.
    Mostly it takes around 5 Minutes, sometimes even 10 Minutes until the E-Mail with the verification code receives.

    We also use contact form 7 and there we do get the emails from the froms instantly.
    I already tried it without smtp and also with different smtp providers, but always the same issue.
    I do have this issue on different webprojects with different urls.
    Is there a solution for this big delay?

    Hi @kopfkinodesign, glad you reached out!

    I’m able to receive the Solid Security 2FA codes on my test sites without delay, and I haven’t been able to replicate this. There could be something on your site environment that’s causing this.

    Can you please confirm that the timezone on your WordPress General Settings is correct and matches your local timezone? If not, try to update it and check if the delay issue is resolved.
