# 2FA Issue

 * Hey,
   Lately I am having some issues with 2FA, when I setup the plugin, enable
   2FA and try to login to configure it, the website simply doesn’t load and gives
   me a “500 internal server error”. When I disable the 2FA feature it works like
   a charm.

   reached out.
 * Getting a 500 error usually indicates an issue with the server. Can you please
   check your server error logs on what’s being logged there when you try to login
   with Solid Security’s 2FA and share them here? The logs could help provide more
   clues as to what’s causing the error.
 * Also, would it be possible for you to create a new WP install on the same server,
   then only have Solid Security Basic activated on the site, and see if you’re 
   getting the same 500 error?
