# 2FA login problem – SOLVED

 * Hello!
 * I have not been able to login to my site because I didn’t have access to Authenticator
   app OR recovery codes. I searched here in the forum and found this from [@wfpeter](https://wordpress.org/support/users/wfpeter/):
   “
   If you haven’t added your site to Wordfence Central follow these steps: 
    - Please use FTP/SFTP — or any file manager your web host provides via their
      administration panel. 
    - Look inside the **/wp-content/plugins/** directory and rename the **wordfence**
      directory to **wordfence.bak**. This will deactivate Wordfence and allow you
      to login without the 2FA code.”
 * I followed these steps above and it didn’t ask for 2FA code, BUT after using 
   my login details I got the following message: You are not authorized to access
   this page.
   So, now I don’t know what to do next. Any suggestions? Kindly, L
 * FOLLOW UP: The “You are not authorized to access this page” only appeared when
   answering that the email adress was correct, I was able to use “go back to site”
   link and find my way! THANKS!
