This is probably a stupid question but I want to set up a second site under a different folder with the server public_html

Do I just create a new static page to the existing dashboard or do i sign in under a different user linking it to the new folder.

Two options.

1) Create the folder and install a new version of WordPress there.

2) Turn your existing site into a MultiSite, with subfolder sites, and create the new site. — http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Create_A_Network

When I see the word’complex’ that’s when I run for the hills. Think I’ll reinstall wordpress linking it to the new folder and create a different user name.
