 * Hello,
 * Firstly – apologies if this is posted in the wrong section. I’m new to using
WordPress and have no ability to code whatsoever, and am struggling with several
problems that have arisen with a free theme I’m using. I’m not sure what the
problems are related or where to even start looking to fix them, so if I’m posting
this in the wrong area or going about this the wrong way, hopefully someone can
at least point me in the right direction.
 * I’ve been setting up a site for my Dad using a theme called _Starter_ (not featured
in the wordpress theme respository for some reason).[ The demo of this theme can be found here](http://demo.themeum.com/starter/).
 * [The site I’m setting up is here](http://www.reidyprofessionalmanagement.com.au).
As you can I’ve removed a couple of unwanted elements from the front page such
as the “portfolio”, but in doing so the top menu no longer scrolls to the correct
parts of the page when items are pressed. Regardless of what browser I use, each
time I hit the menu item it scrolls a little past the intended area. So that
is problem number one I ened to fix.
 * Problem number 2 is under the “**RPM Services**” section. When you click that
menu option at the top you’ll notice that the **Corporate Governance** section
is out of alignment with the others. This whole section of the page is designed
using shortcodes and I can’t see anything that differentiates the corporate governance
section from the others that would make it appear out of alignment. Any ideas
on how I would fix this?
 * The final problem is an issue that only affects displays with resolutions of
higher than 1920×1080. The 3 slider images at the top of the site are all 1920
×1024 resolution (I made them this resolution to match the original demo images)
so on higher resolution monitors the images are supposed to appear with white
space either side. However on my 2560×1440 monitor only the first slider (the
one with people pictured in a rally holding placards) appears in the middle of
the screen. The next two images are left aligned. I’ve compared the two slider
images to the first image that is centred correctly (the 3 sliders are actually
3 separate pages of the theme) and I can’t see anything that is different that
would make them appear to the left of the screen. Is there a easy fix so that
I can make sure all slider images appear in the centre of the page when viewed
   on high resolution displays?
 * Sorry for my long-winded explanations and thanks very much for your help.
