# 301 Redirects plugin does not work on http & https

 * Hello,
 * Whenever I setup a 301 redirect on the WP site it ONLY works if i go to my browser
   and type in the https version.
 * If i ijust type the website straight into the browseer it does not work.
 * thoughts?

 * I wrote my own patch to address this issue. It works for me, but there might 
   be unforeseen issues…

 * I’ve put the patch file back in place and you should be able to access it now.
