[3.8.1/0.8.2.2] Remote API: .

    I just stood up two fresh 3.8.1 sites, and configured Syndicate Out 0.8.2.2 to push from one to other. When I set up the target server in the group, my status is:

    Authentication: OK.
    Remote API: .

    Which I have seen mention of elsewhere in the support forum, but no clear action associated with the error. Suffice it to say, crossposting is not working between the two sites. Do you have any suggestions as to what my issue might be?

    Cancel last — found the issue. There was a typo in the URL for the target side in the Address dialog. The typo’d URL was a parked domain with no content (and certainly not a WordPress Site.)

    A would humbly suggest a feature request dealing with this case and providing a more explanatory status (such as “No API Detected”).
