Cannot restore database after moving to Bluehost
-
I switched host providers from Spymac to Bluehost.
I saved my database.
and now when i try to restore it, phpMyAdmin doesn’t show any error after it’s uploaded; it just shows the code in the mysql file. After that, it’s as if i didn’t upload anything at all. I’m sorry i find it difficult to explain what’s going on, but basically i’m trying to restore my database and when i do try, nothing happens. I’ve emailed support at bluehost, this is what they said:
I have imported the databases you have provided, other than that, there isn’t much I can do, we don’t provide support for fantasticio scripts. I believe the problem is the .sql files are invalid so its not really importing anything. I need a valid backup of it.
Thank you,

[email protected]I REALLY hope it’s not my sql file, because that has about a years worth of data, and i don’t want to start over… again.
Perhaps i backed up my database improperly, if i need to add tags, is that possible?
Please be specific when you reply, so i don’t get confused. I really hope i can solve this problem; it’s been about a week that my domain has been inactive due to this problem, and about two weeks because of dns switching.
THANKS!!
Daren
