Especially the read and write permission, and also generate the token only after setting the permission. * If the token is generated properly, it will display ‘Created with Read and Write permission’ as shown in [https://help.xyzscripts.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/14.png](https://help.xyzscripts.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/14.png). * Please cross-check and let us know if there are any issues. These are recent API changes at Twitter that we need to follow to work with Twitter, and we can’t offer much help as it is a must to do. I will give it one more try delete the app and reinstall . Had any more recent thoughts as to why it still doesn’t work? still get the 401 unauthorized return in the log. I was going to get one of the share comapnies to figure out how to put the share icons on the fornt page so one could post manually but no luck. I completely rebuilt the app then tried 401 thing again went into settings and clicked around things off to on and vice versa and tried again and it worked. DO NOT ATTEMPT this at home! Hire a MIT graduate to set it up for you.
