 * In checking links, I get a report that this link is 403.
 * <link rel=’dns-prefetch’ href=’//widgets.wp.com’>
 * It doesn’t cause any problem that I can see.

 * Hi there:
 * That link is prefetching that URL from our servers on WordPress.com so that when
   there are events that use that URL (like notifications), they’ll load faster.
 * By it’s nature, the widgets.wp.com should pull up a 403 error as the URL by itself
   won’t have any data there. You can safely ignore that message when checking your
   links as it won’t have any impact on your site.
 * I hope that clarifies things! Marking this as resolved.
