 * After activation the plugin I got 403 error.
    Site was completely off. After 
   deleting the folder better-wp-security in plugins directory and fixing htaccess
   site is on again. It was very unpleasant, sirs!

 * Our plugin only reads some data for the installed plugins on your website.
    It
   has nothing to do with htaccess OR it can conflict with better-wp-security. So
   unless, you can give us a bit more information on what exactly happened, we can
   assume that this was related to other plugin (that changed your htaccess) or 
   a conflict of something else with better-wp-security.
