# 403 Error when Posting?

 * I get a 403 forbidden error when trying to post to the site. At first I thought
   it was a permissions issue and did notice that the wp-content was not writeable
   on the server, I corrected that and the cache and upload files were created, 
   but I am still recieving the same error. This happens to both of my authors (
   both with admin user access) on different connections from different locations—
   which is why I think it is a permission issue. Anyone have this problem or know
   how to correct it?

 * Your post may be triggering some rules.

 * It is loaded into apache. Could this be causing the problems? Should I just disable
   it on my server?

 * Wouldn’t hurt to disable it and see if that fixes your problem. If it is the 
   problem, you might discuss what rules it is using with your webmaster or web 
   host’s tech folk.
