It was a apache server mod security rule that was blocking it for me. If you contact your hosting company they may be able to whitelist that mod security rule that is blocking yoast. I dug into the issue on my end and was able to resolve it by updating the apache server mod security rule. I don’t understand what this rule is or how you change it, but I sent in a support ticket to my hosting company, and they seemed to know what to do. * For those of you interested, below is the exact wording of my support ticket.
