The reason is when for example I switch from French to English, this is the site it goes to: * **[http://mysite.com/categorie-produit/](http://mysite.com/categorie-produit/)** * The URL should be like this: * **[http://mysite.com/product-category/](http://mysite.com/product-category/)** * All categories on my sites on all languages are using product-category now, so I am wondering if there is a way to let all languages stick to product-category? This would solve it all, don’t know if it is best for SEO but it would at elast work. I’m using WPML. It also gives 404 error when switching vice-versa from English to France.. Any idea how can I fix this? I can use Redirection tool but then I have to add about 30 links which is not the best solution. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way. * Thread Starter [komani](https://wordpress.org/support/users/komani/) * (@komani) * [10 years, 3 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/404-error-wrong-url/#post-7143174) * Well, it is actually more of a WooCommerce/WordPress thing because there are language files located in /public_html/wp-content/languages/plugins folder and I think there is a conflict between WooCommerce and WP or WPML becuase they translate strings differently. The French translation file (woocommerce-admin-fr_FR.po) in /public_html/wp-content/languages/plugins translates the string product-category. I tried to edit it in that .PO file but it seemed to have no effect.
