 * I used the plugin to move my client’s site from my localhost to the web server
and after the move I am getting 404 errors whenever I try to save/publish/update
any page or post. I am just redirected to a 404 page when I click the update
   button.
 * The problem didn’t exist before the move and I have tried everything to fix it.
Disable all plugins, Change to default theme, etc.. But, nothing has helped.
   What should I do now?

 * when you said that the problem didn’t exist before the move, were you referring
to the localhost site or to the blank site on the server?
to put it in a different
way, were you able to save/update posts on the target site before the restore?

 * My wordpress site on both my localhost and my server was working perfectly before
the move.. The problem started happening after I moved my site to the web server.

 * it could be a permalink issue.
what’s the URL shown in the address bar when
you see these errors? is it different from the base URL of the site?

 * so are they different in any way? anyways, take a look at the .htaccess file
at the root of the site.
    these might help [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/404-error-after-edit-gt-update-post](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/404-error-after-edit-gt-update-post)
