# 404 errors

 * Made a couple of pages but get 404 errors when i try to view them. Are they not
   automatically uploaded on a save?

 * Try resetting your permalinks by going to Settings > Permalinks > Save.

 * i bit the bullet and deleted all the pages. Started a new page without the ability
   to add comment i9.e. a static page. It works.
 * Added a second page with the ability to add comments and ping-backs etc.
    No 
   parent, sidebar template, Order 0., Pressed Update. Then View page – 404 error!!
 * There is a menu item on the first page to the second.
 * It appears that the second page is not uploading to the server.

 * Do you have a link to your site? What theme are you using?
 * When you deactivate all plug-ins do you still have issues?
 * If you switch to the default Twenty Eleven theme temporarily, do you have the
   same problem?

 * Only plugin is Akismet – now deactivated.
 * Using the default Twenty Eleven thems.

 * Suggestions: empty your trash of all posts and pages.
 * Now create a page that has a name other than “novice”. Looks like you have both
   a deleted page as well as a category with the same slug (“novice”) – that could
   be causing conflicts.
 * Double check your custom permalink structure as your category link is really 
   messed up:
 * [http://www.canadianrallyo.ca/wordpress/:%20/category/levels/novice/](http://www.canadianrallyo.ca/wordpress/:%20/category/levels/novice/)
 * Choose one of the standard permalink options rather than creating your own (if
   you have) and reset permalinks.
