# 404 errors for CSS files

 * I’m not sure why but every time I purge the cache and visit my browser in a private
   window, the content is always unstyled since the CSS files return 404.
 * I don’t know how you generate the CSS URL but I suggest you avoid generating 
   a new URL if the optimized CSS does not change.
 * For example, consider using an md5 of the file contents as the generated CSS 
   file’s name.

 * it must be something else in play
 * please provide the report number , you can get it in toolbox -> report -> click“
   send to LiteSpeed”

 * I’ve had to disable cache but some pages are still cached. Note that this doesn’t
   affect all browsers/devices.
 * For example,
 * When I visit the following URL on Chrome Android it works fine but shows stale
   cache when I visit it on Chrome Desktop.

 * you have enabled CF cache , it is incompatible with JS/CSS minify/combine , Guest
   Mode , webp replacement and mobile cache
 * please either disable CF cache or disable these options

 * I am not sure , how did you enable it in the first place ?
 * please in CF dashboard -> page rules , remove any rule that contains feature “
   cache everything” and purge CF cache.
