# 404 installation error

 * I need help with installing wp.
    [http://arts.luiza-maria.ro](http://arts.luiza-maria.ro)
   points to the wp folder, but [http://arts.luiza-maria.ro/wp-admin/install.php](http://arts.luiza-maria.ro/wp-admin/install.php)
   brings a 404 error. I’ve managed to install, a couple of years back, wp on a 
   different domain hosted on the same server, but I don’t seem to be able to make
   it work this time, even though I followed all the required steps. Where and what
   should I check?

 * I’ve deleted everything and reinstalled it, I’ve redefined the domain (this time
   without the subdomain, will do it later) and yet the error is the same. There
   is no .htaccess file in the domain root folder and I’ve tried different browsers,
   yet I always get the 404 error.
 * The new link should be [http://luiza-maria.ro/wp-admin/install.php](http://luiza-maria.ro/wp-admin/install.php)
   but again it’s not working. Any ideas? Please help.

 * Oh, and yes, the files are where they should be, in the public_html (www) folder,
   the folder permissions are 7-5-5, the wp-config.php is set as it should be. The
   domain is also set right, so I’m running out of ideas 🙁

 * nvm, I figured it out. It was not a WP problem, but a matter related to the domain
   not pointing to the right folder (a hosting problem).
