# 405 error – Windows server issue?

 * “405 – HTTP verb used to access this page is not allowed.
    The page you are looking
   for cannot be displayed because an invalid method (HTTP verb) was used to attempt
   access.
 * My client has economy windows hosting on GoDaddy. We may be switching over to
   a Linux server soon – When I google the 405 error I see a lot of f=references
   to IIS servers.

 * I’ve set up a WordPress install on IIS 7 and fought my way through getting rewrites
   etc to work (been ages since I’ve done anything on IIS). Once all was set up 
   I’ve have no issues.
 * If this is happening when you submit the form, it could be is the server only
   accepts `POST` and not `post` – but I’m not sure about it, just what I found 
   on Google. I’d potentially go to GoDaddy and see if they can shed any light on
   it as if its a config thing they’ll be the best people to fix it – or at least
   advise.
 * For now I’m going to mark it as “not a support question” purely as at this point
   it seems it’s an issue with the server rather than the plugin.
