# 4.1.1 Theme Editor Missing

 * Started a new site two days ago, hosted by Pagely. I installed the “Made” theme.
   Haven’t installed anything else. I need to change copyright info in the footer
   etc but The Theme Editor is not there under “Appearance.” Please help, I’m new
   to WordPress.

 * If that’s managed hosting, perhaps they don’t enabling file editing? You might
   want to check with Pagely.

 * Do you have this same problem if you deactivating all plugins and switch to a
   default theme (twentyfifteen)?

 * you’re right, WPyogi…Pagely has disabled theme editor. I have to SFTP
