# 500 error during setup

 * While setting up the Microsoft Clarity WP plugin, a 500 error is encountered 
   instead of getting to the setup page.
 * “Something went wrong. We couldn’t access your account data.”
 * > _More info_
   >  Network error: Response not successful: Received status code 500
 * In case anyone else runs into this, try using Chrome instead of Safari, which
   worked for me.

    1. Please share Iframe URL. You can get that as follows: right-click on the blue
       screen – click on inspect (ctrl + i)  – search for <iframe> tag – get the url

    2. Are you signed in or not? Does the error happen as soon as you load the plugin
       or after a certain action?
    3. Could you please sign out of Clarity on Clarity dashboard and try signing in
       through Clarity plugin on WordPress and report back if the issue’s fixed?

 * The issue is might due to cookie access. Could you please make sure you allow
   third party cookies on your browser and then try to access Clarity from WP.
