# 500 error when generating PDF

 * Hey,
 * I am running the lastest WP version on a PHP 7 setup. Since some time ago I am
   only getting 500 error pages when I press the PDF button to let wp-mpdf generate
   a PDF file. I tried deactivating plugins but it didn’t help. I am guessing that
   this has something to do with the switch from PHP 5.x to 7.x.
 * Reading the debugging file from WordPress the only wp-mdfp related “error” I 
   am getting is: PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/vhosts/
   HOST/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/wp-mpdf/wp-mpdf.php on line 448
 * Unfortnuately, I don’t know is this PHP notice existed before the plugin stopped
   working. Looking at the mentioned PHP line didn’t help either – looks good to
   me.
 * Any input / help is highly appreciated as wp-mpdf is clearly the best PDF option
   I found to date.

 * The plugin is not compatible to php7 (the mpdf version that is used is not compatible)
   at the moment. Unfortunately you won’t be able to use it for now.
