500 Internal Server Error

    Hey guys I’ve encountered a problem where I can’t access wordpress on my website at all. The website is still up and running fine but every time I try to log into WordPress on the site it gives me a “500 Interenal Server Error” This happened immediately when I tried to activate Jetpack onto my website.

    After looking at the Error Logs on my website control panel I found this.

    PHP Warning: mysql_connect(): Access denied for user ‘alfred’@’boscustweb0802.eigbox.net’ (using password: YES) in /hermes/bosoraweb185/b760/ipg.roflbookscom/mysql_connect.php on line 2

    I’m fairly new to wordpress and the world of coding and whatnot so I have no clue what to do in order to fix it. The email in that error code is my friends that tried helping me with the website a while back. Is there anyway to get rid of this error of find a way to alter the user to my user name? Thanks again for the help!

    Hi, it looks like maybe there’s an issue with your db credentials? Have you talked to your host?
