# 500 Internal Server Error when commenting

 * Hi, I’ve read a few posts here on the forums with regards to the infamous 500
   Internal Server Error when posting a comment on a wp blog.
 * my site is [http://www.mysterysoundpodcast.com](http://www.mysterysoundpodcast.com)
 * When I submit a comment I get the error 500 page, however, the comment is still
   submitted!
 * I have tried the temporary fixes found on these forums, but to no avail, the 
   error keeps coming up.
 * Any help would be great, thanks!

 * got it figured out…
 * I was using the comments notifier from Don Angelillo.
 * I deactivated the plugin and all is good with the world.
