# 508 error and CPU usage

 * I posted new stories on to the Website and had them in turn post to Facebook –
   on Facebook — this error message came up — 508 Resource Limit is Reached. The
   link still works however.
    Why did the error show up?
 * I’ve also noted the CPU usage is at 41 percent. I deactivated all plug-ins and
   this did not change the CPU usage at all.
 * Is the CPU usage something I should be concerned about?
 * When I looked at my log it shows no activity for CPU or anything for the past
   7 days despite working on the website yesterday and today. Sorry complete novice
   here. learning as I go.
 * Anyone have any advice?

 * That’s because your account is exceeding the resources that are allocated to 
   it, such as CPU usage or RAM allocation.
 * You might want to check with your host.

 * I’ve contacted my host and they’ve said there are no issues with our account 
   or service on their end. Their recommendation was the plug-ins which did nothing.

 * did they tell you which resource limit you exceeded?
    That info should be helpful
   to you/them to something work with.
 * talk to a technical person there who knows what he/she is doing.
