Howdy Lana,

Usually that sort of thing requires a lot of custom code written for your theme. To best do it you really need to hire or otherwise get a themer to write all of it for you. I wish there was an easier way. Some themes have stuff like this built in, but there are few and far between and to my knowledge they all cost money.
