If you don’t stop it it will disable your computer. Do you want to stop it?” I don’t know where it came from and I don’t know how to get rid of it. How do I get rid of it and keep it from popping up again?? Also, items that are posted via a menu have been disappearing and I have to re-post them. Does that have to do with the script, or is it a different issue? Need help! Thanks! Brought up no scripts message in IE or FF. Not with any other program. Any idea if that would be affecting the menu items that have been disappearing? ( I’m pretty good with certain computer issues, but the “guts” of WordPress, I’m not that familiar with!) Seems I add something to the menu and 10 other things on the list disappear. It’s a pure guess but I’d be looking out for some runaway javascript if I was you. The warning didn’t pop up, so I;m hoping that was the solution! I’m going to make that change on my PC and shee what happens when I access Admin on the website from there. Fingers crossed that the script problem is gone, as well as the disappearing menu items. Going to make the change on the PC. I’ll let you know what happens. I’m just starting to breath a sigh of relief. I am getting a different warning message on the PC (which I did not get onthe laptop). It says “A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player to run slowly. If it continues to run…..” Thisis the first metion of Adobe Flash Player. Any idea why the warning would pop up if there’s nothing moving on the website? Is there something else I can try? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). * – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems. * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F) by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. I’d be afraid of fouling something up. I haven’t been able to get much of a response from the two guys who previously worked on the website for me, which has been frustrating. I’ll have to try and get a hold of them again. I’ll let you know what happens.
