 * I am using the preformatted and code blocks out of the box in Gutenberg. When
I paste a shortcode into the code or preformatted block it is rendered by WordPress.
Shouldn’t shortcodes be treated like any other code (eg CSS or JS) and NOT rendered
   but just formatted as code.
 * I resorted to putting a space after the [ (left bracket) to prevent rendering.
   Am I missing something obvious?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fa-shortcode-in-code-block-shouldnt-render-shortcode-should-it%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
