 * Hi,
 * I am currently using the Image Optimization features in the Litespeed Cache plugin.
On my site, Optimize Original Images and Generate WebP are both enabled, and
all of my existing images have already been processed by these features.
 * I am now considering turning these settings OFF. What will happen to my existing
   images?
    1. For an image that has already been compressed from 500KB down to 100KB, if I
turn the optimization feature OFF, will the image file on my server remain at
100KB? Or will it automatically revert back to the original, unoptimized 500KB
       version?
    2. What happens to all the .webp files that have already been created? Will they
       be deleted from my server?
    3. If the .webp files remain, will my website stop serving the existing .webp versions
       to visitors?
    4. What will happen to the status information in the Media Library (like “Orig
saved 17%”)? Will this data disappear or change?
    5. Is turning these features off a safe and reversible action? If I turn them back
on later, will everything return to normal without issues?
 * My main concern is to ensure that my existing library of optimized images will
   not be broken or lost.
 * Thanks,

 * [@gale13](https://wordpress.org/support/users/gale13/) not sure why would you
   disable Image Optimization.
Is something speed related? or why? Please create
a report ID, from LSC => Toolbox => Report => click on “Send to Litespeed”. Then
   share the ID generated.

 * My report number is: **VCAPXHKQ**
 * My issue is with high server CPU usage (100% CPU spikes), not website speed.
These spikes often happen when Litespeed’s background image optimization is running
at the same time as other heavy tasks (like me editing posts in the WordPress
   admin).
 * I want like to temporarily disable the features as a troubleshooting step, to
see if it helps reduce the overall load. I also plan to upload the webp imgae
   to the site.

 * 1. already optimized images will stay as it is , unless you manually proceed to
       destory and restore original images.
    2. same as 1
    3. you need to set “auto request corn ” to off , and keep “webp replacement”
    4. it will stay as it is , unless you destory and restore to original
    5. yes , if you do 3) , then you just need set it on again , then it will proceed
to opitmize image from last one it optimized until your newest images. if you
completely disable , destory optimized data and restore to original back , then
all optimized images and records are lost , you need to start it from scratch
       again

 * Thanks for your help. I have another issue. I’m experiencing extremely long execution
times for `wp-cron.php` on my website, sometimes over 100 seconds. Using the
WP Crontrol plugin, I see multiple LiteSpeed tasks (like `litespeed_task_css`,`
litespeed_task_ucss`, `litespeed_task_lqip`) are still being scheduled to run**
every minute**. I’ve already created the crob job twice/hour, the next run is
right, but the schedule is not (the picture [https://postimg.cc/7JVn0xTT](https://postimg.cc/7JVn0xTT)).
   How can I fix this?

 * HI again,
 * I’m having a big problem with the Page Optimization features on my site, happybakingdays.
com. When I have them on, my site becomes unusably slow. Here’s what I’ve figured
   out:
    - **With LiteSpeed fully ON:** My pages take over **12 seconds** to load. The
server waiting time (TTFB) is a massive **8+ seconds**.
    - **When I deactivate the LiteSpeed plugin:** The page load time drops to around**
4 seconds**, and the TTFB is a healthy **1 second**.
 * How can I set it up so it actually makes my site faster instead of slower? I
still deactivate the plugin at the moment.

 * for wp-cron, our task should all be async , by that saying , the wp-cron will
just trigger it , then do whatever else it has to do , you can try manually execute
these tasks in your screenshot , you should see them finished like instant in
front, and there will be a background admin-ajax.php request if there is any
files needs to be pulled back
 * for your long loading time, please try disable localization and “add missing
size” , these are 2 most likely options
