V3.5.2: This plugin had ONE JOB: Enable me to run Facebook ads set to Purchase Events. But the plugin does not register live purchases, so I cannot set up or run a Facebook ad how I want it. I have wasted three days and money on Facebook ads trying to get this sorted, I cannot believe such a bug-infested non functional plugin can exist… Is anyone in the company even testing it before releasing it or are you just relying on users reporting bugs as your means of testing??

Here are just some of the things that worked fine with the Meta Pixel plugin and not with this plugin:

    Purchase Events
Meta Pixel Helper Chrome Extension (Only detects the pixel is present, not any activity on the page- and the pixel was not even present in the post-purchase thank-you page!)
    Facebook Test Events Tool

Additionally, once you have run through the wizard there are no useful settings in the plugin page to try and resolve problems, only “delete connection”.

    Hi @corsair08 ,

There is an update in the works that will address the issue with Purchase event tracking.

Regarding event tracking/testing with the Meta Pixel extension and Test Events, this should work if everything is configured correctly. Please feel free to open a thread on the forum detailing your issue, and share your system status report using PrivateBin to help us investigate the issue further.

    Kind regards,
    Marija

Thanks for getting back to me, but considering I (and I assume most people) installed the plugin to be able to advertise and drive sales, not having Purchase event tracking but having lots of other nice features working is like buying a car that has a nice radio but doesn’t start or drive even if you push it. It is not a little bug, it makes the plugin a pointless waste of time and money wasted advertising…. I have deleted it and am going back to the Meta Pixel plugin. This has been a major headache and waste of time and money. I really don’t understand how you can release a plugin version that does not do the very one thing it is intended to do…
