ACF fields not saving data

I have just installed Advanced Custom Fields, from the plugin store. All I have done so far is go into the interface, create a field, go to a relevant page and enter some information.

This information will not save – am I doing something wrong, or missing a piece in my set-up?

Do I need to call it in functions, I have checked my database user and it has full rights over the database…

Any info would be very handy, thanks!
