# Activate uploaded theme?

 * I am TOTALLY new at this. I uploaded Sterling theme (Envato). I see it as the
   current theme under Appearance>Themes but when I look at the site, it still shows
   the temp landing page and says: “This site is under development
    This page indicates
   the webmaster has not uploaded a website to the server.” What am I missing? How
   do I make my theme show? I’ve created pages, uploaded my logo, published pages…
   nothing shows but temp page. Please help!

   url

 * I did exactly this:
    Adding New Themes using the Administration Panel
 * You can download Themes directly to your blog by using the Add New Themes option
   in the Appearance sub-menu.
 * Log in to the WordPress Administration Panel.
    Select the Appearance panel, then
   Themes. Select Install Themes Use the sub-menu or the Search or Filter options
   to locate a Theme you would like to use. Click on the Preview link to preview
   the Theme or the Install link to upload the Theme to your blog. Use the Upload
   link in the top sub-menu to upload a zipped copy of a Theme that you have previously
   downloaded to your machine.
 * It shows under Themes. It indicates it is the current theme. But it doesn’t show.

 * Did you change name servers at registrar of your domain name to point to your
   host,if you did looks like you have place holder in root index.html if so you
   need to rename or delete the file.

 * I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from
   the theme’s vendors.
