    Hello,

I have set the ad expiration to 180 days first, and then I changed it to 365 days. It did work for the new ads.

Then, I changed my mind, and put the ad expiration off (so I just wrote 0 for zero, no expiration).

The thing is that the change is not taken into account. The ad expiration still remains to 365 days even for new ads.

    Is this a bug ?

  • Hi spespam,

This is not a bug of AWPCP. The expiration date is set at the time when the listing is created. The listing will use the global setting if the site is in free mode and then determine what the expiration date should be at that time for the listing. Each listing’s expiration date is calculated only at certain times, such as:
    – Creation
    – Renewal
    – Admin approval
    – Other admin operations (such as manually setting it)

Changing the global setting does not affect the expiration dates of existing listings. To do that, you need to edit the listings manually.
