# AD INSERTER SUPPORT FORUM – BEFORE YOU ASK FOR HELP

 * Before you report a problem please update the plugin to the latest version and
   try to use [plugin debugging functions](https://adinserter.pro/documentation/debugging)
   to diagnose the problem. In many cases it also helps to check [plugin documentation](https://adinserter.pro/documentation)
   or forum threads for similar problems.
 * **You don’t see ads**
 * One of the common problems is that you don’t see the ad displayed where you expect
   it. In such case you should first check if ad blockers are disabled. Then you
   should check if the ad code is inserted. This can be done either by examining
   the source code of the page (make sure the caching is disabled) or by debugging
   function [Label Blocks](https://adinserter.pro/documentation/debugging#label-blocks).
   If the code block is inserted then Ad Inserter works as expected, just the code
   doesn’t display anything. Check also [Ads not displayed](https://adinserter.pro/documentation/troubleshooting#ads-not-displayed)
   and [troubleshooting for AdSense ads](https://adinserter.pro/documentation/adsense-ads#ads-not-displayed)
   for more details.
 * In almost all cases it is possible to determine the nature of the problem just
   by checking the debugging data. Some code for ads may not display anything, either
   because of errors in the ad code or because of ad network issues. Use [Label Blocks](https://adinserter.pro/documentation/debugging#label-blocks)
   function to mark all inserted blocks on the page.
 * **Ask for help**
 * In order to be able to diagnose the problem and suggest actions or fix a bug,
   please do the following:
    1. Enable [Remote debugging](https://wordpress.org/plugins/ad-inserter/#what%20is%20remote%20debugging%3F)(
       tab ⚙ / tab Debugging).
    2. You may need to disable caching, otherwise debugging functions will not work.
    3. Make sure right mouse click and web inspector in the browser are not disabled.
    4. Clearly describe the problem. Describe what does not work as expected.
    5. Describe the settings and the blocks used (list block numbers).
    6. Post web address (link) of the page where the blocks using the settings above
       are not inserted properly.
 * Unless you provide the items listed above, nobody can check your website or reproduce
   the problem and consequently can’t help.
