# Ad stats pruning

 * Is there an option to prune last x of stats logs nightly or weekly?

 * the answer is No, there is no such option.
 * May I ask why you would like to manipulate the stats like this?
    Manipulating
   the database would always be possible, though not through a feature we already
   have in any of the plugins.

 * I only want to keep the last 1 year of stats.

 * In that case, we do have something.
 * If you go to _Advanced Ads > Stats > Open database management_ you should find
   a _Remove old stats_ option with two choices:
    - remove everything before the current year
    - remove the first 6 months recorded
 * An example for the second option: if your stats started recording on the 1st 
   of January in 2016, it would remove stats recorded until June 30th, 2016.
