 * **Hello! 🙂**
 * I really hope someone here can give me some advice.
 * I’m currently running an ad-free blog on which I post photos.
 * I’d like to keep my blog ad-free on the surface, but would like to show ads only
   when my visitors click a thumbnail to view the image in full size. They will
   then be taken to a new page that shows ads AND the full size image on the same
   page.
 * Now, is it possible to create something like this using WordPress? If so, how?
 * Hoping for some great advice! 😉

 * You could add an image.php template file to your site/theme. What theme are you
   using? Where did you download it from?

 * Hello esmi and thank you for replying.
 * My theme is called ‘Jarida’ and I’ve downloaded it from Themeforest.
 * I’m a newbie at WordPress so could you please explain to me what the “image.php”
   does and how/where I should apply it to my theme?
 * Here’s an example of what I’d like to do (from another site):
 * [http://www.imagebam.com/image/8481dc256852547](http://www.imagebam.com/image/8481dc256852547)
 * When the link/thumbnail is clicked, it will show a page with banner ads and the
   full size image.
 * Hope you can assist me further! 🙂
 * Best,

 * I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek theme-specific
   support from the theme’s developer/vendor. We do not support [commercial products](http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Commercial_Products)
   here.
 * However, generally speaking, a theme’s image.php file is used automatically whenever(
   a) an image is inserted with a link to its attachment page and (b) that image
   thumbnail is clicked by a visitor. Both the Twenty Twelve and Twenty Eleven themes
   have examples of image.php template files.

 * Thank you for giving me a better understanding of the image.php file, esmi. I’ll
   seek support from the developer of Jarida! 🙂
