ADA Issues

According to your documents, your plugin is ADA compliant in terms of using TAB to move through the navigation. I am working with a site on ADA and am having trouble getting the main navigation to use TABS. I have tried switching themes to see if that was the issue but no luck.

Is there anything special I am suppose to do to activate the ADA features?

Hi chriswm,

Did you get this fixed? I am able to tab through the items on your homepage.

I do notice on your shop sub pages, it doesn’t look like you’re using WordPress, and although the menu looks similar, it’s not actually using Max Mega Menu there.

Thanks for getting back to me about this issue. After seeing your note I went back to the website and found that the tabbing navigation works in Chrome just fine but not so much in Firefox and Safari.

Hi Chris,

I take it you’re using a Mac? (as it doesn’t work in FireFox for me either).

I’ve checked in Windows and it works as expected.

It seems theres an option in Mac OS which would enable it for FireFox, but I haven’t found it yet:

Hi Tom-

I am on a Mac and had to do change a setting in System Preferences to get the tabs working in both Firefox and Safari. The change was in System Preferences: Keyboard: Shortcuts and change the bottom setting for Full Keyboard Access from Text-Boxes and lists only to All Controls. I think this is what did it because both browsers started working properly.
