 * The height of the carousel appears to be determined by the height of the largest
html element. Is there a way to make the height adaptive to each individual html
   element content?

 * Yes it is possible by setting adaptive height attribute (adaptiveHeight: true
in options for slick carousel) in carousel options as showcased here – [http://kenwheeler.github.io/slick/](http://kenwheeler.github.io/slick/).
 * You will need to edit the assets/js/lsow-frontend.js JS file (around line number
   120) manually though.
