# Adaptive Height

 * Hi,
    I’ve noticed in mobile view the slider container is sometimes much taller
   than the content within it. I believe enabling adaptive height as shown in this
   thread will resolve this: [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/auto-height-6/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/auto-height-6/)
 * However, I believe any customizations like this will get overwritten when a plugin
   update is installed. So how do I enable adaptive height when using a child theme
   so the customization doesnt get overwritten?.
