# “Add comic” function not working

 * I’m rebuilding my site from the old Comic press at edsrus.com to a new comic 
   easel powered site at edthecomicguy.com. I was mucking about with the design,
   managed to get the comic up, as well as a lot of the functionality. Really happy.
   Then I went to the “add comic” tab and got this lovely message…

 * I have a feeling that I might have accidentally deleted or moved something around…
   however I was getting the same error message when i was working with elements
   of the theme (Theme trust’s “Hero”), and they just corrected themselves after
   a while.

 * Apparently, the post information doesn’t get sent right. Might be something as
   small as a ‘}’ or whatever missing somewhere that does that. The difficult part
   is to locate it.
 * Do you get the same error when you try to save a regular blog post? If so, does
   it remain when you switch CE off?
 * By switching your plugins off and on one by one you can get a grasp of where,
   roughly, the problem is. If it’s with one of your theme tweaks rather than the
   plugins: Are you working with a child theme? If so, you can delete and undelete
   files to see if one of your theme changes caused it. (If it’s the theme.)

 * The blog posting also doesn’t work. I’ve tried switching off the plugins and 
   that doesn’t fix it either, so I guess it’ll have to be in the theme, when i 
   switched out the theme it seems to work. I’ll re install the old theme and figure
   things out. thanks.

 * Make sure to use a child theme for your changes. Makes it easier to track any
   mistakes.
