Errors that are only happening on the back end of the site are difficult, because we don’t have (or need) the ability to log into your site, per forum rules here.
Any time a button is unresponsive on a site (front end or back end) there are often clues in the JavaScript developers console. To view the console, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl Shift J (on Windows) or Ctrl Option J (on Mac).
That opens a console where then you can reload the page and attempt to click the button again, to see if any errors are logged in the console. Pass those errors along, or record a brief screencast using screencast-o-matic.com showing the console while you perform the action.
Anecdotally, it’s almost always a conflict with some other plugin causing issues on the admin screens. Follow the steps there, and let us know if you can isolate what the conflict is. At that point, we’ll try to replicate the conflict and find a fix.

Can you reccomend a different donation plug in that doesnt have these issues? I dont have time to sit around deactivating every plug in looking for an error……
