# Add New Theme error

 * Hi, is anyone suddenly getting an issue with adding new themes.
 * I’ve have several WP installations across various servers. I searched and added
   a new theme a couple of hours ago which I liked the look of so thought I’d add
   it to another WP site I run. Now when I go to themes and Add New I get the following:
 * > An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or 
   > this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the
   > support forums.
 * I have tried on all my WP installations and getting the same on them all. Nothing
   has changed on my servers or other servers I use, I’ve also used different platforms
   to no avail.
 * I’ve searched the forum but there is nothing I can find notes this as being a
   recent issue, the closest is from 3 years that I can find.
 * Can anyone help? Is there a problem with WordPress.org? should I just wait, is
   anyone else having this issue right now or is it just me?
 * Everything else is still working fine, I can still look for and add plugins ok.

 * I have found another post from an hour ago with someone experiencing the same
   issue. At least its not just me.
 * Any resolutions welcome, any resolve I’ll update.

 * I’m having exactly the same problem. I’m a total novice to all this, just got
   might site up, hosting through hostgator. I was playing around with different
   themes over the last few days and suddenly today I get this message
 * “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this
   server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support
   forums.”
 * I tried un-install and re-install of wordpress, but still have the same problem.
 * Anyone got a fix for this?

 * Hi there!
 * There were some temporary problems with WordPress.org, it wasn’t handling theme
   requests correctly. It should all be working now.

 * I’m starting to have this issue now. Beginning to happen and spread to all of
   my different sites.
 * I have Digital Ocean droplet servers and I’m also running ServerPilot to manage
   them.
