# Add shortcode

 * I would like to add this shortcode:
    [feather_share] in ad page layout.
 * I have tried to write this:
    $ feather_share_name_srccode or this feather_share_name_srccode
 * not good.
 * I do not understand how to be code.
 * I understood that the code must be \ $ somecodetitle
    but I do not understand
   what it means.
 * I tried a lot, I did not find the solution, or I can not understand.

 * Hi Cristian,
 * The AWPCP layout HTML doesn’t allow you to put shortcodes in there to expand.
   We don’t have support for that in the plugin today.
 * The fields like $somefieldcode are field codes, not short codes–they are different.
   We only have the field codes that are allowed in that template.
