# Add Tasks dates using wrong notation

 * When creating a Task within a Task List, I can select a date through the pop-
   up calendar. When selected, date will show in the format of 14-11-2014. After
   adding the task, the date then displays as January 1, 1970.
 * The date then must be changed using 14/11/2014 notation, then it displays correctly.

 * Sorry for the long reply.
 * I’m not a programmer in the least. I can only mention some obervations. And recently
   I found that even trying out my own suggestion at times does nothing to solve
   the date issue. Most of the times now the only thing I can do is to delete the
   to-do and try again.
