Adding a HTML5 search form in WordPress menu

Best theme ever!
I couldn’t get this search menu from your tutorial to appear. When I finally gave up, I tried to do it my way and managed to get the default search bar on the menu. Please view this screenshot to understand effectively. However, it is not as I want it to be. I want it to appear like the on click expandable magnifying search button that appears on the admin bar.
Please help me in either of the following ways:
1. Helping me make the HTML5 search form from your tutorial appear.
2. Helping me transforming the search form I made to the one at the admin bar.
